Set between the Purcell Mountains and the Rockies, the town of Kimberley boasts stunning views and attracts tourists from around the world. Visit the golfing capital of Canada and you might find not just eighteen holes, but even to a real estate agent. If not, just be happy with improving your game.

Golf courses here include Bootleg Gap. This twenty-seven hole course hires out pull carts and clubs if you travelled light. Look for junior rates and play a round with your teenager, or just use the driving range for some practice. Kimberley Golf Club dates back to the early twentieth century and continues to thrive among the competition. Find yourself some gear in the pro shop then stop for a meal after your game.

Shadow Mountain is the newest golf course in Kimberley. Enjoy eighteen holes or nine, with short breaks in between each hole to simply admire snow-capped mountains and lush green mountain forests. The gift shop sells clothing for men and women plus accessories and souvenirs. Arrange for group or private lessons with a certified instructor. Golfing classes have been broken down according to age, with some also set aside for ladies only. Even send the kids to golf camp so they can develop a passion for this popular activity.

With a visit to St. Eugene Mission comes the opportunity to play golf by day and hit the casino at night. Instead of worrying about how to get back to your hotel room after a few drinks and some slots, stay right at St. Eugene. Arrive with a group and split up, some heading for tee time, others to a local spa. Eat out in style or opt for a casual barbecued steak at the on-site restaurant.

Golfing packages make it easy to spend the weekend golfing and hanging out. Stay in a chalet, condo or guest house. Bring a big group of eight to twelve people and split the cost, saving money to enjoy what you came for: eighteen holes. Some rentals include barbecues, hot tubs or even a fireplace.

Trickle Creek Golf Resort offers stay and play packages including a round on their green plus a room a the Lodge. Eat at the lodge restaurant then walk to golfing just minutes away. Come back to soak in a hot tub, swim a few lengths in their heated outdoor pool or burn calories in the fitness room.

Trickle Creek also sets families down right by ski hills, which could get them thinking. What about moving here? Perhaps compromise, laying down just holiday roots. Purchase property in the area for those gaps in a busy calendar that let you get away to golf or ski, alone, with friends or with family.

Should such a plan become viable, remember this is a high end location. BC Real estate can be scarce and expensive in Kimberley, but conveniently close to a local airport for commuting to and from Calgary and other cities. Purchase yourself a fabulous view and plant yourself close to places like Wasa Lake, Radium Hot Springs, and the Canadian Rockies.

It’s not surprising that BC is considered Canada’s golf capital. BC golf vacations are attracting golfers from all over the world, With the beautiful mountains and picturesque natural scenery, take time to enjoy the magnificent BC real estate.

Avid golfers will no doubt always be on the lookout for something that can improve their game, and one of the most difficult decisions that one have to make is to decide if they want to go for professional coaching lesson. This is because it is usually expensive and they do not 100% guarantee that you will improve, sometimes people even find that they’re much worse than before they began.

That said, most of the time engaging in professional help will rarely leave you off worst, and in fact it professional coaching is one of the fastest and easiest way to get going in golf because they are essentially teaching you the correct way to swing a club.

Bad swinging habits can stick to you for the rest of the life, as the saying goes prevention is better than cure, therefore getting started on the right foot can save you a lot of troubles and corrections in the future.

There is also one benefit that even the world number one appreciates in a professional coach, which is to get a better insight to their golf game! A coach can help you spot your mistakes that you will not be able to pick up on your own, as they are watching you as a third person, thus offering you better tips to improve your game.

Good golf swings are actually not entirely natural to your body instincts, as such it can be reinforced with golf lessons, because the more you do it under supervision the better you will get, right?

Before you rush to your local driving range to sign up, gauge yourself and see if you need professional coaching, or at the very least you can skip the basic stuff and save yourself some money if you already have a strong foundation.

A way to find out how strong your foundation is can be done by analyzing it through recordings of your golf swing. This will provide you an eye of the coach, that being said, you will still need to know how a good golf swing actually looks like in order to find out your mistakes and make correction on it.

If at the end of the day you decide against professional coaching, there are still ways you can improve your current golf game. One way to do so is to read up on other’s approach to their game as well as making friends with a lot of other golfers which allows for exchange of tips and approach.

Looking to turn your kitchen into a contemporary one? You need to get one of these integrated fridge freezer to show that you are in tune with fashion! Find out more about buying your slimline fridge freezer here!

Whether you enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine in your hand or challenging yourself to the rigours of rock-climbing, BC summer activities provide something for your. Tour the province to witness for yourself a breathtaking variety of eco-systems including desert, rain forest and meadow. Hire a houseboat, kayak or bicycle so you can get close to the wonders others have only read about in tourist brochures.

These wonders include the marvelous animal life one can spot with a little patience and research. Whale watching from Vancouver Island or norther BC provides a popular attraction. Pods of Orcas travel from Alaska to Mexico each year, so find a guide or just spend some time in the water in a pleasure craft or ride the Ferry from Twassen to the Island. You might see a whale without even trying. Bears offer a similar attraction, these beautiful creatures who remind us of our teddy bears yet possess a strength you do not want to mess with. On the other hand, bears rarely approach humans. In fact, they prefer a solitary life. Find a hide from which to view their salmon-catching antics or travel Highway One. Your best opportunity of seeing a bear is by watching the road. They appear out of nowhere, only to disappear into the bushes once more like ghosts.

Explore aquatic scenery and a rugged coastline around Vancouver and further north up the channel in a sea kayak. This affords another chance to get close to whales and marine birds. Hire a kayak inland and explore lakes such as Postil, Hidden Lake and Gardom Lake, all in the Shuswap and Okanagan.

Consider golf vacation packages, play eighteen holes at The Harvest Golf Club in Kelowna before heading to one of numerous wineries. These include Tinhorn Creek, a carbon neutral winery boasting a fabulous product. For a wine festival come in August to the Okanagan Summer Wine Festival held at Silver Star Mountain near Vernon. Other festivals include Roots and Blues with its eclectic mix of musical acts held in Salmon Arm annually.

There is little mystery as to what brought people to places like Salmon Arm or Barkerville. Gold, building the railway, farming: these were all important attractions for immigrants from other parts of the country or from Europe. Visit places like Three Valley Gap near Revelstoke to see restored buildings such as the general store, the smithy or the one room school house. Some places even feature costumed actors and re-enactments of court proceedings.

Royal BC Museum is a large and fascinating establishment where visitors can explore the changing shape of the province. Take a look at natural history, indigenous cultures, the progress of the railroad and more. Other museums to check out include the Canadian Military Education Centre in Chilliwack, near Vancouver. Explore the military history of the country with some hands on displays and historic machines. Be sure to golf during a BC vacation.

River rafting is just one of the many water-sports attracting those who love to experience the wildness of provincial waterways. Choose your timing carefully to get the highest class of rapids or a gentler ride. Your fastest water in summer will likely happen early in the season, not long after the heavy spring run-off. Look into Adams River or Thomspon River tour companies, or just take yourself out onto one of numerous lakes for tubing and water-skiing.

Rock climbing makes another popular attraction for those unafraid of heights. Combine your interest in natural scenery with some vertical exertion. Once at the top of the cliffs at Skaha Bluffs near Penticton or Liard River in northern BC, do a bit of bird watching and let the world go by way below you.

It’s not surprising that BC is considered Canada’s golf capital. BC golf condos are attracting golfers from all over the world, With the beautiful mountains and picturesque natural scenery, take time to enjoy the magnificent BC real estate.

For the active holiday-maker, choose western Canada as a place to settle yourself for a summer of fun. BC summer activities take you on the water or out onto rock bluffs. Take a golf club or a wine glass in your hand. You are sure to find something to enjoy about this beautiful province.

Not only do people love BC, returning again and again, but whales love the province too. Take a guided tour or just hop on a ferry heading for Vancouver Island and keep looking. You have a good chance of spotting a pod of Orcas, especially from locations like Tofino, Victoria or Telegraph Cove on Vancouver Island, or Prince Rupert in Northern Canada. Bear watching makes for a popular pastime too, just be sure to know your bear safety rules. Most of the time bears take no interest in humans. Watch out your window while driving east along the Trans Canada Highway. Prime spotting points include the area from Golden to the Alberta border.

For those who want to get closer to the water, the lakes and coastal waters of the province are ideal for kayakers. Tour the many islands between the mainland and Vancouver Island, putting in at inlets and little bays rarely reached by other tourists. Paddle the lakes inland at Wells Grey Provincial Park, Clearwater, or Shuswap Lake at Salmon Arm.

Festivals draw visitors from all over the world to this vast province, including wine festivals. During the month of August head to Silver Star Mountain Resort near Vernon for the Okanagan Summer Wine Festival to learn about and taste numerous wines. Combine wine with golf vacation packages, perhaps trying The Harvest Golf Club in Kelowna for eighteen holes on a championship course. Various communities host a festival for children to celebrate Canada Day on July first. These festivals often include music and draw well-known performers, feature information and safety booths. Buy a hot dog and get your face painted red and white.

Canadian history may not seem to go a long way back, but places such as RJ Haney House in Salmon Arm and Three Valley Gap near Revelstoke make the most of the early days. View restored buildings set-up to recreate nineteenth-century towns. These might have housed railway labourers, gold-panners, or immigrants looking for a new way of life through farming.

BC history goes much farther back than a couple of hundred years when viewed through the eyes of its indigenous people. Explore their early lives and the impact of European settlement at Royal BC Museum in Victoria. Fort Langley, about an hour from Vancouver, takes you back in to a time when people traded animal hides for iron pots or blankets.

Thrill seekers might want to make a few exciting memories for themselves with water sports. River Rafting gives them the perfect opportunity, especially in early summer when the spring run-off has not yet run out of steam. Get very wet, even flipped over, or take a break for a short interpretation of the flora and fauna you ride between at Adams River or inside the desert canyon of the Thompson River.

Follow a day of rock climbing on the Skaha bluffs near Penticton with a more relaxing escape. All skill levels can take part at the bluffs by climbing the up to 250 foot cliffs or merely hiking for a good view. Relax at a Penticton restaurant over some beautifully prepared local food. All in all combining BC golf vacations with exploring the beauty of British Columbia makes for an ideal adventure or family holiday.

It’s not surprising that BC is considered Canada’s golf capital. BC golf condos are attracting golfers from all over the world, With the beautiful mountains and picturesque natural scenery, take time to enjoy the magnificent BC real estate.

One thing you hear people from BC saying is that they have no need to leave their province for a holiday.

One thing you hear people from BC saying is that they have no need to leave their province for a holiday. There is plenty to do without boarding a plane or renewing their passports. Whether you like rock climbing, rafting or a glass of wine, come for some BC Summer Activities.

Mention the west coast of Canada and many minds instantly turn to wildlife sightings. Though the best times to see bears is spring and autumn, you can still find great look-out spots during your summer holidays in places like Kicking Horse near the BC/Alberta border. Any time you drive past Kamloops towards the next province you have a chance of spotting bears close to or even on the Trans Canada Highway. Whale watching from Victoria or Telegraph Cove on Vancouver Island is another popular pastime. Boarding a zodiac, cruise ship, or even just taking the ferry between island and mainland will offer the opportunity to spot a pod of Orcas making their majestic way.

Try ocean kayaking to get even closer to whales, or choose kayaking on one of many clear, freshwater lakes. Bowron Lakes in the Cariboo Chilcotin Region makes a popular destination. Get down low in the water and really see the loons, grebes and numerous other native and migratory aquatic birds which frequent these waters.

Annual festivals across the province include Roots and Blues in Salmon Arm, featuring acts from around the world performing everything from rock and roll to African drumming. Drive a little way south east and explore the Okanagan wine region. Here you can taste an number of reds, whites, or fortified fruit wines from wineries that make this glorious region their home on a self-guided tour or enjoy the annual Okanagan Summer Wine Festival at Silver Star Mountain near Vernon in August. While you are in the area, try golfing at one of the numerous Okanagan Golf Clubs. These include Championship courses such as Black Mountain, a public course with a par of 71. BC real estate is thriving, so make sure to check out some of the fabulous investment opportunities.

History comes alive in places like Three Valley Gap near Revelstoke or Barkerville in the Cariboo. Look for restored buildings taking you back to cowboy days and the gold rush. At Barkerville, costumed interpreters re-enact scenes from daily life such as a realistic criminal trial.

Stop in at a BC museum to see collections from the natural and cultural world around us. Aboriginal artifacts include masks and totem poles, some of which can be seen at Royal Museum in Victoria. Revelstoke Railway Museum houses many train engines and carriages showing what train travel was like during different eras throughout the past century.

Thrill seekers may want to try rafting on one of many rivers suitable for the sport. Guides will take you safely over everything from a class one to class four. Your summer rafting trip will likely reach highs of class three since most of the spring run off will have passed through, but anything can happen in the wilds of BC so come prepared.

Mountaineering and rock-climbing provide popular challenges for the fit and prepared visitor. A visit to the north offers locations such as Cassiar, Omineca and Terrace for those looking to get off of the well-worn path and see natural wonders up close, including glaciers. Alternatively, tavel east to enjoy some of the wonderful Kimberly real estate. Follow an arduous day with a trip to Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park along the Alaska Highway. You do not have to climb there, only walk the boardwalks to one of two pools boasting tropical temperatures.

It’s not surprising that BC is considered Canada’s golf capital. BC golf vacations are attracting golfers from all over the world, With the beautiful mountains and picturesque natural scenery in British Columbia. Plan your next golf vactaion package, and be the next to tee off in beautiful BC.

If privacy and island living is what you are seeking, then Bald Head Island is right for you. As the southernmost island in North Carolinas cape islands, Bald Head Island is a 12,000 acre private island community accessible only by 20 minute ferry ride from Southport, North Carolina.

Beach homes overlook the beaches, waters and salt marshes that make up Bald Head Island. Homeowners and guests of the island travel by electric golf carts and bicycles by paved and unpaved paths. Guests can rent carts by the day while on their trip.

Bald Head Island has fourteen miles of undeveloped beaches, an 18-hole championship golf course, two clubhouses, hi-tech exercise facilities, tennis courts, swimming pools, a full-service marina, walking and bicycling trails weaving through the island, gift shops and dining establishments.

Created by designer George Cobb, the championship 18 hole golf course at Bald Head Island is integrated into the islands marshlands, sand dunes, and marine woodlands. During the courses construction much of the preserved landscapes were left untouched.

Tennis players will love the four soft-surface tennis courts at Bald Head Island. The club house also has exercise rooms, mens and womens locker rooms, and a resort style swimming pool. There is also a second swimming facility at the Shoals Club that has a lap pool and kiddie pool.

The ten acre Bald Head Island harbor and marina has boat slips from 30 to 100 feet in length. From the marina residents have access to the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean.

If food is your passion, there are options for either casual and fine dining, or shop at the fully stocked grocery store to prepare a quiet meal at home.

Bald Head Island is an incorporated municipality with its own fire department and community police department. All island firefighters are paramedic-level certified, and a basic medical treatment room is available at the main fire station. In emergency situations, transportation is available to Dosher Memorial Hospital located a few minutes from the mainland ferry terminal, and to nearby Brunswick Hospital or the New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

Custom residential homes, villas, and townhouses, and ready to build lots are available for sale through the private real estate agency located on the island. For those looking to build their dream home, a featured builder program offers portfolio homes and custom designs to choose from. Fractional ownership is also available through the a selection of two-story cottages and an affordable co-ownership program, with prices ranging from about $150,000 and up.

Preparing for a regular holiday consists of a fairly standard to do list. A golf holiday requires some extra action items to confirm in the week before departing that will help the holiday go smoothly and ensure you get to golf. The following items cover the fundamentals for most holidaying golfers.

Health: A basic first aid pack should be included in your suitcase. If you plan to golf most days then any minor injuries can build up over a few days (especially if they don’t get a chance to heal) so pack headache tablets, plasters, insect repellent, indigestion pills, diarrhoea medication, sun block/sun-screen, contact lenses (and spare ones), spectacles and travel sickness tablets. Also include any prescription medicine that your are currently taking (bring enough to cover your stay but not so much as to cause concern to border control/customs).

Most of these could be picked up on arrival but doing that would eat into your holiday time. A worthy addition is heat packs and cold packs as the muscle strain involved in golfing daily may prove more than your body can take.

Bookings: Email or phone the courses you intend playing to confirm your tee-time is booked. Make a note of any booking references you may need along with tee-times and a map/directions to the course (especially if you are renting a car).

Clothing and Shoes: Have a look at the golf course’s websites and confirm if there are dress codes. Most holiday resorts are quite flexible on this matter but if you are playing championship courses then there could be specific dress codes (for on-course and/or in the clubhouse). Aim to bring several layers of clothing with you. This means you can easily add/remove layers depending on how cold/hot the destination is. It also means you have plenty of spare clothing if you are rained on.

Pack sunglasses, caps and beanies. Check your rain gear is packed and in a good state of repair. Inspect the cleats on your shoes replacing any broken ones. Cleats near the toe are especially important for maintaining grip under foot so you could rotate broken cleats to the heel if desired. Clean the shoe soles of all soil/grass (see below).

Documentation: Print out addresses and directions to the courses you are going to. Check the clubs website for any course guides, yardage information or specific course rules. These can be worth reading prior to a round in order to get your bearings. Pack your proof of P.G.A. handicap. Some courses impose a maximum handicap for golfers permitted to play so your handicap proof may be necessary.

Golf Clubs and Equipment: Inspect & count your clubs. Clean them and the bag of any soil. Some destinations (Ireland, U.K., Australia) have policies regarding the dangers of bringing potentially contaminated soil into a country.

Then there is the regular golf paraphernalia to stock up on. Check you have plenty of pencils, tees, golf balls and gloves.

The intention of this checklist is to guarantee you get to spend as much quality time as possible golfing during your vacation. Have a great holiday and don’t forget your umbrella!

If you are looking at senior golf vacation packages where you can get golf lessons, a friendly game of golf or watch a PGA Tour, you might look on the Internet to see where the best destinations might be.

If you are looking for senior golf vacation packages where you can have golf lessons, a friendly game of golf or watch a PGA Tour, you could look on the Internet to see where the best places might be. You could travel to Arizona, Hawaii, Bermuda or Myrtle Beach.

You could have some exciting rounds of golf when you reserve a senior golf package that includes accommodation, airfare and a couple of days of golf. You will not only enjoy your golf, but the many attractions in the area as well. Vacation packages are great and when they involve golf at a very prominent club, you will have an even better time.

Myrtle Beach has some of the most prestigious golf vacation packages with diverse activities built into each one. You can play the Big Cat and even have a lesson or two from the ex- Senior Golf Tour player Gary Cowan. Gary Cowan was the winner of two majors and had eight appearances in other majors.

You may prefer the Big Cat package, the Fanatic golfer package or the four rounds and three-night package. The latter is for the true golfer. Four days of golf and only three-nights in the hotel is what you get with this vacation package.

In Maui, you can play one of the courses designed by Robert Trent Jones; enjoy a day in the warm sun and experience a golf course like you have never played before. You can stay at the Kaanapali Beach hotel and take the short walk to the golf course.

The two courses are a senior golfer’s delight. The South Course has an executive style, but with little complexity whereas the North Course runs through the foothills and along the beach and is thought of as a challenging golf course. It is also home to the PGA Tour.

If you are searching for something out of the ordinary, you might like to try the senior golf vacation package to Bermuda. With nine golf courses spread out on twenty-one acres of land, you will find that this is one of the most exceptional experiences of a lifetime. You can choose from fourteen hotels and resorts that offer senior golf vacation packages. With ocean all around, you will feel the warm breeze and smell the ocean as you enjoy a great game of golf. Many vacation packages include at least one day of golf, but you can find vacation package deals with more days as well.

However, the story of senior golf vacation packages does not end there. You could enjoy a trip to Arizona where you can find some of the leading golfing schools. The golf courses in the area put on the PGA and the LPGA. The Scottsdale area is crammed with many senior friendly golf courses that will intrigue even the skilled golfer.

Not only do you have the game of golf, but some of the best leisure activity is on hand in the area as well. You can arrange a senior golf outing anywhere you can find a great package deal and professional lessons.
