The fact that most of the training instructions out there with golf are for right handed golfers can really be bothersome to someone who is left handed. It might appear to be tough to golf when left handed because of this. However, there are plenty of techniques available that a left handed golfer can use.

Almost all the techniques out there that are for right handed golfers can also be used by someone who is left handed. The best way to think about how to do it is to look at it as if it is a mirror image. What works for a right handed golfer can be switched over and used the opposite way for a left handed golfer.

Take time to practice your technique with your swing trainer. Remember to make sure your grip on your club isn’t too loose or too tight. You swing trainer should help you with your golf stance to make sure it is right. There are different shots that you may have to do out on the course that you can still practice with your swing trainer for.

For example, if you want a chip shot you need to remember to lean your body a tiny bit to the right. You need to stand close to the ball, with your hands above it. Remember to keep your hands ahead of the ball, even as you hit the ball. Arm movement is essential when chipping.

It is also good to practice a good putt shot. Putting requires a squared shoulder stance. You also need to remember to have a firm, but light grip on the golf club and have a good, long follow through when hitting the ball.

Other techniques can be used for other shots you will need to take on the course. You may find yourself out in the sand for a few shots. These are intentionally hard shots to make. Remember to compensate for the hard terrain and footing by digging your feet in the sand, and having a lower grip on the club.

While the technique may be interchangeable, you shouldn’t interchange the golf equipment. Equipment is meant to be used only for right handed people, or only for left handed people. Left handed individuals should never use equipment for right handed individuals, that is if they want to do any good in the game.

It can be a lot harder to find left handed equipment for a golfer. However, when golfing left handed, and using a right handed golf club, your game won’t go well. It used to be really difficult to find equipment, unless you were a professional and could afford customized golf equipment. With the advances of the Internet, finding left handed equipment is right at your fingertips. You only need to search for it.

People who are successful at the game of golf have the right type of golf clubs. There are certain clubs that can help you with certain types of hits. You never want to use just one type of club for every shot. Instead, you should have a variety of clubs to help you with your game.

One of those clubs that is important to have is the driver golf club. Driver golf clubs help with the long distance hits. A driver allows you to hit your long shots successfully.

Since golf driver clubs are one of the longest clubs, they also are a little heavier. Find one that suits you. You don’t want to be stuck with a golf club that you never want to use.

Beginners want to find a driver club with a bigger head. Having a bigger head allows you to have a lot more control of the ball when you swing. Professionals have other things they need to consider when looking for the right driver, such as how far it is bent, etc.

You also need to consider what type of shaft the club has. You don’t want one that is flexible. Stick to ones that have shafts in graphite or steel.

Driver clubs are a little more expensive than the other types of clubs. However, it is important to find a genuine, good-quality club. Never settle for a cheap imitation, as your swing and game will suffer from it.

It can be overwhelming to hit long distance shots when you are a beginner. However, it is imperative that you learn to make those type of strokes. It will take a lot of practice.

Practicing on your swing trainer will help. Swing trainers are a wonderful tool that allow you to get the right type of golf swing down. Novices, amateurs and professionals alike benefit from using a swing trainer.

The Automatic Swing Trainer is a swing trainer that will revolutionize your golf game. Our golf trainer is guaranteed to improve driving distance, lower scores, and help you control your golf game.

A golfer usually has a bad day when their stance or setup is wrong or off. Posture and balance are very important in the game of golf, and have a direct impact with how well the game goes. It is very important to practice your golf swing and stance if you want to have an improved game of golf.

Start by focusing on your posture. If you’re too stiff, if your knees are bended awkwardly, or if your hands do not grip the club exactly right then you will notice an error in your golf swing. Correcting these problems right away will improve your golf swing and your scores drastically.

For example, if you stand with your knees bent too low then there is a natural inclination to raise your body up during the swing. Your golf swing will hit the top of the ball instead of its center. However, if you stand too straight and don’t bend your knees enough then you will swing flatly and still hit the top of the ball.

The posture needs to be balanced. Start by balancing your feet. Your feet should be balanced between both your left and right foot, and from back to front.

Your golf swing will be restricted if you put your balance on your toes. This makes for a quick, short swing. You want to have a strong hit, not a quick one.

When you are trying to set up your stance have your arms hang down. A lot of people make the mistake of having their arms hang out. Correct the problem and move them down, not out.

Also be careful how far you are standing near the ball. A lot of people make the mistake of standing too far away from the golf ball. Be sure that you are standing where you are supposed to before taking a swing.

With all of this the most important thing to do to correct your golf stance is to practice. AST offers the best training tools to teach you how to correctly position yourself. The nice thing is that with AST you do not need prior training to perfect and correct your swing.

The Automatic Swing Trainer is a swing trainer that will revolutionize your golf game. Our golf trainer is guaranteed to improve driving distance, lower scores, and help you control your golf game.

Fact: Over ninety percent of golf players will never be capable of competing with you if you can accomplish three relatively basic things (disregard putting for the moment).

Fact: Over ninety percent of golf players will never be capable of competing with you if you can accomplish three relatively basic things (disregard putting for the moment).

1. Stay out of trouble using your driver (see, I didn’t say smash the ball 300 yards straight down the middle of the fairway).

2. Strike 70% of the greens you face from one hundred and fifty yards in (in other words, learn to handle your eight iron and down).

3. Chip the golf ball within 20 ft of the pin, almost each and every time (irrespective of what you might think, this isn’t that difficult).

That’s it. So that’s exactly what I am going to focus on over the subsequent few weeks. What are these suggestions? I’ve decided to release 10 tips concerning the above items. They’ll be released once a week, for about the next 10 weeks. They have been designed in response to a growing number of questions regarding how to really lower a handicap. And it is my sincere belief that the above three elements are the best places to start, if you want to truly score better.

These guidelines are intended to become a guide to help you reduce your scores on the course through means that the majority of individuals don’t practice. The goal here is for you to round out your game, and for you to take benefit of the truth that I talk about above. Just how will these suggestions decrease my Score? Fairly easy really. The points have been created to be released only once a week, so you can focus on that particular tip for 7 days, include it into your own game, and proceed on to the next. That’s the way you get better at something, right? Apply 1 action or change at a time.

Reading an entire e-book on golf won’t do anything at all for your game if you don’t implement any of it. That is why the “The Simple Golf Swing” was developed they way it was, because it is simple to apply. Therefore the key will really be implementing just one step to your game each week.

Tip #1 – Staying out of Trouble with your Driver

So just what is it which is really causing issues with your driver? Is it a slice, a hook, or just flat-out inconsistency? Well the good news is that, irrespective of precisely what issue you’re fighting, there are a few points to integrate into your game that genuinely will help you. If you’re the golf player that’s saying right now, “I’ve battled a slice for 25 years”, then this is not going to be the be all and end all of your problem. But you can decrease the slice or hook, which will certainly assist you to score lower.

So below the first tip is:

1. Golf swing made simple.

Absolutely nothing can be greater for your game than understanding how you can swing the club easier and much more fluid. When you go to the range and completely focus solely on swinging easy, it will transform your capability to position your self for an excellent approach shot when you get onto the course. You will produce a lot more consistent impact with the ball, and it is going to reduce the amount of side-spin you normally place on the ball due to the fact the club head will not be traveling as quickly or using as much force. Again, I realize you have heard it before, but I ask you to completely focus on this for one week. And if you cannot physically practice it, picture it at the place of work (visualization works great)

2. Switch to some lower spin golf ball.

Reduce spin off from the tee means that the ball is likely to go a lot more straight regardless of exactly how whether your golf ball moves right or left. I suggest the Titleist DT SoLo, the Precept Laddie, or the Maxfli Noodle. You can get these kinds of balls anywhere from $13 to $20 per dozen, and they will play a large role in cutting down the side spin which you naturally put on the golf ball.

I understand that this all appears over-simplified, but it is not. If you are having difficulties managing your driver, switch to a low-spin ball, and start swinging easy. When you’re on the range, ALL you should be thinking about is swinging the golf club easy. Incorporate this in to your own game this week, then next week we’ll discuss how to get some more distance with your driver.

Next Week: How you can Improve your Yardage by Striking Triples instead of Home Runs.

Golf swings are as distinctive as snowflakes, and about as hard to copy. Often the simplest golf swing is also the most successful at hitting the ball farther and straighter. Consistency is probably the single most significant aspect of achieving a lower handicap. We all know that it’s no secret that having a repeatable golf swing is the key to having a fantastic game. The flawless golf swing is the one that is unforced through good technique. This reliability is achievable, but you must go down the right pathway to find it.

Everyone wants to have the picture perfect golf swing but is there really such a thing. No there isn’t really such a thing, that every player can be trained to use. The perfect golf swing is a personal thing, and is one that works, time and time again, to send the ball in the direction you intend it to go. Anytime that you can achieve this it could be described as perfect. There may or may not be such a thing as perfect, but if you build a repeatable swing you will learn to be consistent. That is the key and all you need worry about. So, how do you attain your own perfection?

You will only improve with practice, rather than playing, and when you are practicing this is the time to work on the mechanics of your golf swing. This is not to say that playing won’t help you get better, in fact playing with golfers that are superior to you will undeniably help with your progress, as long as you observe what they do in certain situations and don’t get wrapped up in trying to outperform them. Structured practise time is critical to improving, by this I mean that a certain amount of time should be billed to each facet of the game.

Fifty percent of practise time should be spent working on your short game, with 50% of that being spent on putting. The left over 50% ought to be spent on short irons and working your way through every second club until you reach the driver. Practise time should not be spent aimlessly pounding balls with your driver. Every shot should be performed as though there is something on the line. You should always be aiming at a precise target. You should develop on a pre-shot routine and use it faithfully for every shot. A strong pre-shot routine will be your best friend when you are under the anxiety of competition.

Just bear in mind that it is an abnormal rotational movement, and you learn it through practice. First of all it is significant to point out that no training aid can replace consistent and regular practice as that is fundamental to playing better and lowering your handicap. Remember to have some patience when learning, go to the range and practice without hitting any balls to start and after you have warmed upstart hitting a few.

The Simple Golf Swing is an amazing coaching program that is guaranteed to improve the way you play and reduce your handicap. In fact, the Simple Golf Swing is getting an average improvement of 12 strokes. Here is how this program is going to fix up your problems: You will learn how to use your spine as an axis to promote reliability in your game. Balance is the responsibility of both your body and your mechanics.

In relation to the golf swing it’s your ability to maintain the proper spine position and center of gravity during movement. Unlike other products that profess to teach you “secret techniques” on improving your skills. The Simple Golf Swing training system provides you with the fundamentals of a proper golf swing and teaches you how to use them correctly. Also unlike other products the Simple Golf Swing training system is backed by a money back guarantee, so there is absolutely no risk involved.

Practice made perfect, and I’m pretty sure no one will disapprove this fact. Even if an athletes have an incredible amount of talent and natural skills, without practice they would not be as successful as they currently are now, are you saying that Tiger Woods became the number one in the world without going through a lot of practicing?

So, why are you not practicing? By putting in the hours of practicing and hard work, you will gain consistency which will be reflected in your game. Therefore do make sure you take the time to run regular golf swing drills that can help review and improve on your game.

Practice will without a doubt, greatly improve your game, but you must also be practicing correct and effective swings drills! Learning the wrong one can quickly wreck your game and thus here are some swing tips to get your swings on course:

If you have the knack to practice in your own backyard, maybe you should stop and visit the golfing range for the real thing. This is because if your ultimate goal is to get better swing and distance from your swing, you need to make concrete ball contact to improve. Just by swinging your golf club in the air is not going to help you, as the game no doubt relies on muscle memories as well.

Just by swinging in your back yard actually can numb your game, as you do not hit any ball during that period. Although your stance, grip and follow through can be done in your back yard, nothing can actually replace the important feeling and lesson of hitting the ball in the driving range. Thus always be sure to run your drills in a range instead of your backyard.

Making solid ball contact aside, you will also need to make sure that you’re not ruining your game by forgetting your basics. Be sure that with every back swing, your shoulders are guiding your clubs instead of your arms.

If you want to practice your natural golf swing, do so without a golf ball so all your concentration can be at your body movement and swing instead of ball contact. Learn the proper way to align your body in relevant to the golf club you’re using and cross check your stance as well.

When we see pro golfers on television, they make it seem effortless. But, as beginners know, the game is anything but easy.

When we see pro golfers on television, they make it seem effortless. But, as beginners know, the game is anything but easy.

The beautiful, green courses hide water hazards, sand traps, and other obstacles through which you must hit a tiny golf ball. Your goal is to hit this ball, make it through the dangers, and ultimately land it in a correspondingly small hole. It can be frustrating for people who have a hard time even hitting the ball off the first tee.

And then you have the choice of which club to use during each stage of the game. When is it appropriate to use a driver? What is a wedge? Should you use your woods or your irons? At least you feel pretty confident about when to use the putter.

In the game of golf, there are three clubs available for you to use: drivers, woods and putters. Each club serves a different purpose and will cause a ball to travel differently from a tee or the ground.

You can begin with this basic knowledge, and suddenly the game of golf will make much more sense. You can actually enjoy yourself instead of worrying about what to do.

Firstly, the clubs you use must be appropriate for your stature. Clubs that are too short will leave you with an aching back, and clubs that are too long will leave you chopping into the course.

The right equipment is a must. It is a great idea to go to a pro golf shop so that knowledgeable professionals can help you choose the appropriate clubs and sizes.

While there are many different clubs, your three most important will be drivers, woods, and putters. When you see those amazingly shots on television that go a few hundred yards, the players are using their drivers. These, and woods, are made for long distance shots.

When you are on a green, you can pull out your putter to closer shots. These three clubs are the most important to the success of your game, so it is a good idea to practice and feel confident with each.

Golf courses can be intimidating for beginners. Before you start, try a driving range. This allows you to practice your posture, swing, and grip without the pressure of a real game.

Just as important as which club to use is how to hold the club. Your dominant hand should be positioned under your opposite hand to guide it. The flat part of your weaker hand should lie at the end of the club handle. This is where proper fit comes into play and can make a big difference in your game.

Stand tall to the side of the ball and pay attention to your posture. This will influence how you swing. If you have poor posture, your swing will not be as powerful or smooth.

Keep your arms bent slightly and place the club at the back of the ball. This is the perfect distance between you and the ball.

To develop your swing, you can practice without a ball and swing at the empty tee, learning the feel of your club and how to control the club so it is be within the ideal strike zone.

In addition to the three clubs already mentioned, there are specific clubs that are useful when you find yourself in the midst of hazards. Make sure to practice with these as well as you will be prepared for every aspect of the game of golf.

There are a lot of factors that go into deciding which club to use and how to hit the ball. You even have to take into consideration the consistency of the sand as well as other elements. You will want to use a wedge for sand traps. They are designed to help you hit the ball in this type of terrain.

With practice, you’ll gain familiarity with your equipment. Once you understand how each club works, and how you should use them, you can turn the often mystifying game of golf into a relaxing and enjoyable hobby.

There's no doubt about it; golf is becoming increasingly more prevalent every day. As more and more individuals become inquisitive about golf, there are obviously more individuals that are just now taking their opening steps in needing to discover how to try out the game.

There is little question about it; golf is becoming increasingly more widespread every year. When increasingly more people become interested by golf, you have obviously more individuals that are presently now taking their initial steps in needing to find how to play the game.

Practice and Patience

First thing the golf beginner has to understand is that golf is going to take time and a lot of patience to master suitably. In effect, the patience element never goes away in this great golf game! The next detail that is important for beginning golfers to understand is about practice. The amount of time you take doing quality practice time will get you to the period with your game you want to be at sooner rather than later.

What are Your Expectations?

Each individual could have diverse ambitions and expectations concerning how far they want to take their game. It could be a spouse who desires to learn enough concerning the game along with the golf swing to have the confidence to benefit from a day with their serious other, or somebody that someday wishes to play competitively. Obviously, aside from patience and practice, the hub of the game of golf is the golf swing.

The Foundation of Golf

The way you start out learning the workings of the swing is of vital consequence. It’s essential to learn some fundamentals before you even start to deal with the swing. The grip, the address position, the set up with the ball, plus your posture, are the foundations from which you should learn the swing. In the event you don’t take the time early on ingraining these elements into your consciousness, you might not ever strike the ball perfectly.

The Golf Swing

Therefore, when you’re working with your golf coach, be sure that you are not taught to merely begin striking at balls. Foremost you must build the correct foundation with all the previously outlined elements. When you do advance to swinging the golf club, it’s a great tip to start with a middle iron, either a six or seven iron. The middle iron is the best golf club to begin learning the swing.

For example, using a 6 iron, the ball position is in the center of your stance. This means that as you advance shorter and longer irons you will have a standard to work from. As well down the road, in case you get into problems with your swing, then you can go back to your central neutral position club of the six iron and find your rhythm and timing back.

When you understand that the longer the shaft on the golf club, the more time it is going to take you to master the golf club; it’s simply plain physics. Countless beginners feel the necessity to rush to hit the driver and consequently they never discover the correct swing. Always learn, fine tune, and channel your swing with a middle iron.

Taking the middle iron ball position as a guideline, your longer shafted clubs will have the ball position further toward your forward foot’s instep, whereas your shorter irons will have the ball placement more toward the back foot’s instep.

Back with the Foundation

After you get past your initial few lessons of practicing the foundations, you should not overlook them. Forever pay attention to your grip, position, set-up, and posture even as you start developing your swing.

Every time make sure to include a check of your golf foundation before you starting your swing. Take into account to be patient and spend some time on quality practice time.

When your a beginner in golf and you hear golf swing lessons you’re probably thinking what kind of golf stance and golf grip do I need to launch they’re first swing. But don’t worry it’s not difficult to learn. I have noted below a few lessons that you will need to know.

Golf Grip – this is the factor that affects your swing. Before you swing make sure you have a good grip. It’s not slippery, slick or hard. If your grip isn’t then you’re good to swing.

Golf Stance – A good balanced and relaxed stance would result in a good swing. It may not be perfect but it will help if you through the facets of the game.

To have a good stance then you need to place the inside of your foot ahead of the ball. The feet should be shoulder width apart. Then you need to bend at the top but keep your back straight and then bend slightly at your knees.

Tip: your knee cap is directly above the balls of the feet. The angle of your back should be about 45 degrees and then your arms hang straight down from the shoulder. Keep your feet align every time that you go to swing.

Back Swing – This is all about coiling up your body and creating the muscle torque needed to release a powerful downswing. Specifically, the resistance is created between the greater turning of the upper body and shoulder.

Tip: don’t rush because you want it to go faster because it won’t. Just take your time and keep tempo. If needed take a couple trial swings before you go to hit the ball.

Release – this is when you are going to hit the ball. You’re not able to make the impact yourself. The swing should reach it’s momentum to execute it effortlessly and it will result in a good shot.

Really you want to square the clubface through the impact of rotating the right forearm or left if your left handed. After the impact, your arms should be extended fully as the lower part of the body rotates to the left while the club remains on the target line. The arm passes your body through the impact zone and your head should remain behind the ball.

You can’t just know how to do this position without learning. When you learn you can make it happen automatically.

When it comes to golf training products there is certainly no shortage of choices. You have to know what you are looking for and why if you are thinking about buying golf training products. After all, you could spend a fortune on various golf aids and not see any improvement in your game.

Some golfers don’t have a specific problem with their game – they just want to improve upon a certain area of it. Some desire a ways of achieving more distance or more accuracy, while others are interested in getting fit for golf and want to buy some golf strength training aids.

In this article I will point out the top 4 categories and which type of golf training products you can find. You should first try to identify why you believe you think a golf training aid can help you. Once you have identified your particular problem you will be in a better position to choose the right golf aid to help you improve your game.

You may not want to try golf training equipment just yet – as an alternative you could check some golf guides or eBooks, or even some golf DVD’s that deal with a definite area that you need help with. There are several great eBooks or DVD’s that can help you with all areas of your game; your golf swing, golf stretching exercises, how to fix a slice, golf fitness programs, or golf lessons in general. If you would rather try out some golf training products or aids, then check out the following categories:

Full Swing Training Aids: This category is full of training aids but not all of them are good solutions for the complete golf swing. The top choices in this category would have to be the hinged golf clubs such as the Medicus Dual Hinge clubs or the Refiner hinged training clubs. Another good option is the Leadbetter Swing Setter which helps with your grip, release, tempo, and swing plane. Alternatively, try weighted golf clubs from Momentus or a full swing trainer by Explaner.

Golf Fitness Training Aids: These are my favorite golf aids because you will see a marked improvement in all areas of your game once you are fit for golf. The top product in this category is a range of fitness training products from the GolfGym. Again, weighted golf clubs can be used to build up your golf specific muscles and to raise your flexibility level. The Explaner not only improves your golf swing, it also strengthens your golf muscles and increases your flexibility through the use of a weighted roller.

Golf Grip Training Aids: As the perfect golf swing starts with a good golf grip, golf grip training aids are another essential product if you have problems with your grip. These products range from specially molded grips that fit over your regular grip of your clubs to special golf gloves that help you grip the club with the right pressure and the right position every time. Also in this category you will find grip training aids that are designed to strengthen the muscles of your hands and wrists.

Putting Training Aids: As a good putting game can significantly lower your score, there are many golf putting aids to help you perfect this area of your game. Some putting aids use a laser to help you with alignment and others are used to help with the all important aspect of good tempo. For alignment, there are many putting tracks or guides available, and if you need help with the correct position of your forearms and hands, there are several braces that can help.

The golf training categories above are what I consider the top 4. There are many more specific categories that deal with the golf tempo, swing plane, release, alignment, weight transfer, impact position, balance, and short game. There is a golf training aid to suit every golfers problem area or aspect that they want to improve. Make sure you buy the correct golf training product that will help you with the area of your game that needs improving.
